Brooklyn Townhouse
This century-old townhouse needed a modern overhaul for a young family with two kids (and a lovable rescue dog). We opened up the ground floor, bringing light and comfortable circulation through the living spaces.
We call this the “nerve center”: a spot conveniently located between the entrance and the kitchen where a busy family can stay organized, dropping keys or checking the calendar.
When one parent is a professional chef, dinner is always amazing—and a functional kitchen layout is a must.
We enlarged the master bedroom and added a bathroom where there was once a small office.
The kids bedrooms are entered through a shared playroom, encouraging joint play as well as independence.
